This is a very heavy, thick piece of marble. The rubber feet are small, but they have very good gripping power on my wood and tile counters. The board does not slip or travel when I'm rolling out dough. The extra large size makes it perfect for rolling out large pastries and doughs with room to spare for resting the rolling pin, spoon, etc.The color is rich and beautiful with many variations of green veined with white. The finish is professional, smooth and easy to clean with warm water.This board is too heavy for most people to move easily from counter to counter or from refrigerator to counter so keep that in mind when making your purchase. You'll want to find a mostly permanent place for it. That said, it's a beautiful addition to my baking kitchen and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cool, durable surface for manipulating ingredients that need to stay cooler than room temperature.

I can't give this product 5 stars because it arrived today broken. The outer box showed no signs of damage, but the inner box had approximately 2/3 of one end blown out and when I opened it up, found a ~4" x 9" corner broken off. There were packing straps around one end, but nothing around the other, and that's where the blowout/breakage occurred. Had the Taiwanese simply added straps in the 2nd dimension, the marble slab couldn't move anywhere and become damaged. If the distributor had inspected the shipment upon receipt prior to shipping to the Amazon reseller this incident wouldn't have happened.Since the other two reviewers did not mention any incidents with their purchases, I can only hope this is an isolated case and wish future purchasers good luck in receiving one of these beautiful pieces of marble.
