Best Knives for Those Who Want Great Sharpness and Comfort

We purchased these knives to replace some Chicago Cutlery knives that served us well for over 25 years. It was actually our second purchase as we bought them for our second house and due to their great feel, balance and maintenance for sharpness, we decided we needed them in both locations. The set is great and the knife selection is well thought out. Unless you have very specific cooking needs, the set should be able to provide capability and diversity to all cooking needs The knives are first rate, balance and construction. We do not put them into the dishwasher and is it is not recommended due to the harsh heat and chemical action to the handles. I think the block could be finished more. It is adequate, functional and does have room for extras. It just is not up to the quality of the knives. Summary -- if you need a set of knives to last a lifetime, these are it.

the knives are great really sharp and easy top use,the only thing that might want to tell everbody is that when you go to clean to knives the first time be very careful,they are really sharp and will cut you hands
